2020/2021 DARMSTÄDTER FERIENKURSE

Tianyi Wang is selected to participate in the 2020 Darmstâdter Ferienkurse in Darmstadt, Germany, where he will be collaborating with the musicians at the festival to create a new work for the Listening as Compositional Practice Workshop. The new work is to be premiered at the festival.

*Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2020 Darmstâdter Ferienkurse is postponed to summer, 2021

Tianyi performs When I Look Above from Beneath (2017) for the 2nd annual Peace and Justice Arts Cafe curated by Linda Chase, which features local artists performing and speaking out for peace, environmental and social justice. At intermission artists and community members engage in conversation and contemplate how the arts can build community, nurture compassion, deepen awareness and inspire positive action.
